1. The Service

MathXY is a free, ad-free educational tool that provides adaptive math practice for children. It is intended to support — not replace — classroom learning or guidance from a teacher or parent.

2. Who may use MathXY

The Service is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian (18+). By creating an account you confirm you are an adult and that you consent to your child using the Service and to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Accounts & sign-in

• You sign in using a third-party provider (currently Google, with Microsoft coming soon). You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
• You are responsible for the student profiles, PINs, and settings you create within your account.
• You may delete a student profile or your entire account at any time.

4. Acceptable use

When using MathXY, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use the Service to store or transmit harmful or malicious content.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

5. Intellectual property

The MathXY name, branding, and content are owned by MathXY and its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your family's educational purposes. Progress data you generate belongs to you.

6. Free service & availability

MathXY is provided free of charge. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. MathXY is an educational aid and does not guarantee any specific learning outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathXY and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Since the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
